Privacy policy
Tumble (tumble.ambientapp.ai, and the Tumble plugin and connector in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants) is run by The Open Apps, Inc., 1111B South Governors Ave, Dover, DE 19904, United States ("we"). This policy says what we collect and why. Questions or requests: support@theopenapps.com.
Who Tumble is for
Tumble is for adults who run games for children: parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches and group leaders. Children are the players, not the users. Tumble is not directed at children under 13, has no accounts, and never asks for a child's name, school, photo or any other personal detail.
When you use Tumble in an AI assistant
- What reaches us: only what the assistant sends to a Tumble tool: a number of players, an age range, a kind and size of space, equipment, minutes, an energy level, a game id, a goal for adapting a game, or a few words from a game's name. We don't receive your conversation, your account details or your name, and the tools have no field for them.
- What we keep: a record of each tool call (the tool, those arguments, the result, timing and any error), sent to our analytics provider PostHog so we can see which games are used and fix problems. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived request logs (time, path, status, the assistant's server address) for operating and securing the service.
- What the assistant keeps: your conversation is held by the assistant you use (OpenAI for ChatGPT, Anthropic for Claude, xAI for Grok) under its own privacy policy, not by us.
When you visit the website
The site uses PostHog analytics, sent through our own domain: pages viewed, clicks, the page's errors and log messages, and the browser's approximate location from its IP address. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: its identifier lives only in the open page, so each visit counts as a new visitor. Session recording is off. We use it only to understand how the site is used. No advertising trackers and no data sold or shared for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts Tumble and the site.
- PostHog, Inc. (United States cloud) stores the analytics described above.
How long we keep it
Tool-call and website analytics are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Cloudflare's request logs are kept for a few days.
Your choices
You can use Tumble without any account. The website sets no cookies. To block website analytics, use your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker. To ask about, access or delete data, email support@theopenapps.com; because Tumble has no accounts, tell us roughly when and how you used it so we can find it. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
We update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
